Disc golf terms
Every hole runs from the tee to the basket.
Parts of a hole
Every hole runs from the tee to the basket. The fairway is the open path between them, and the rough is everything in bounds off it. Out of bounds (OB) is marked off and costs a penalty throw. Circle 1 (C1) is the 10 m (33 ft) circle around the basket, and Circle 2 (C2) runs from there to 20 m (66 ft).
Shots
A drive is the throw from the tee, an upshot gets you close, and a putt is any throw from inside C1. A hyzer is released with the outside edge down and curves the way the disc fades; an anhyzer is released edge up and curves the other way. A roller lands on its edge and rolls.
Scores
Par is the expected score for a hole, usually 3. One under par is a birdie, two under an eagle, and one over a bogey. An ace is a hole in one. Parked means a throw that lands within 10 ft of the basket.
