The short version
Delete your account in the app, on the web, or with a link we email you from this page. You don’t need the app installed. Your account closes right away, your data is gone within 30 days, and from backups within 90.
You can delete your account and data from the app or from this page. You don’t need to reinstall the app.
In the app
Settings › Account › Delete account. Confirm by typing DELETE or with Face ID, and your account is closed immediately.
On the web
Sign in at shotlab.app/account and choose Delete account.
By email link
Enter the email address on your account. We send that address a link; open it and confirm, and the account closes. The link works for 30 minutes.
Or email privacy@shotlab.app from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We confirm by email, then close the account.
What happens
- Your account closes at once: you’re signed out everywhere, sign-in is turned off and your profile is hidden.
- Profile, friends, rounds, scores, throws, stats, badges and health data: removed within 30 days, and from backups within 90.
- Rounds on other players’ cards: the scores stay and your name becomes “Former player”.
- Cheers you sent and received, and your moments: removed.
- Map edits and hints: kept in de-identified form as part of the shared map.
- Workouts already saved to Apple Health or Health Connect: stay there, under your control.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel it in your store subscriptions first: App Store subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions.
