Innova Shark flight numbers

The Innova Shark is a midrange with published flight numbers of 4 speed, 4 glide, 0 turn and 2 fade.

What the numbers say

• Speed 4. A moderate speed that is easy to control.
• Glide 4. Average glide.
• Turn 0. No turn: it holds its line through the middle of the flight.
• Fade 2. Medium fade: it finishes with a clear curve left.

Put together, the numbers read as stable to overstable. Turn is shown as a negative number, so −3 turns more than −1, and a higher fade finishes harder to the left for a right-handed backhand. A left-handed thrower sees the mirror image.

These are the manufacturer’s published numbers. Plastic, weight, wear and your arm change how a disc flies. In Shot Lab you add the discs in your bag and Caddie learns how each one flies from your own throws. See every disc on the flight chart, or read how to read flight numbers.
