Innova Mamba flight numbers

The Innova Mamba is a distance driver with published flight numbers of 11 speed, 6 glide, −5 turn and 1 fade.

What the numbers say

• Speed 11. A fast disc that rewards a smooth, full-power throw.
• Glide 6. High glide: it stays in the air and carries farther.
• Turn −5. Strong turn: with a right-handed backhand it moves right through the middle of the flight.
• Fade 1. A light fade at the end.

Put together, the numbers read as very understable. Turn is shown as a negative number, so −3 turns more than −1, and a higher fade finishes harder to the left for a right-handed backhand. A left-handed thrower sees the mirror image.

These are the manufacturer’s published numbers. Plastic, weight, wear and your arm change how a disc flies. In Shot Lab you add the discs in your bag and Caddie learns how each one flies from your own throws. See every disc on the flight chart, or read how to read flight numbers.
