What the numbers say

  • Speed 2. A slow disc built for control close to the basket.
  • Glide 3. Low glide: it comes down sooner and stays on a tighter path.
  • Turn 0. No turn: it holds its line through the middle of the flight.
  • Fade 1. A light fade at the end.

Put together, the numbers read as stable. Turn is shown as a negative number, so −3 turns more than −1, and a higher fade finishes harder to the left for a right-handed backhand. A left-handed thrower sees the mirror image.

These are the manufacturer’s published numbers. Plastic, weight, wear and your arm change how a disc flies. In Shot Lab you add the discs in your bag and Caddie learns how each one flies from your own throws. See every disc on the flight chart, or read how to read flight numbers.
